This piece of work was created in Photoshop. It is based on the work of Julian Opie, but I was also linking the formal elements of colour and shape. It was based on an illustration I produced of a family member. I am progressing to Level 2 Art in September.

What have I learnt from this course?

I think this year has given me a chance to learn a lot of new techniques, such as Photoshop, printmaking and different ways of painting. The most important thing is that I have realised that Photography isn’t just a technique on its own. When you use illustration and printmaking or plaster casting to create outcomes from one design it makes your idea much more in depth and shows you can be versatile.
